About two weeks ago we bought a 100 foot long overhead exercise run for Lucky so that he could spend more time outside. We got the heavy duty version, rated for dogs up to 100 pounds. Lucky was only 45 pounds and wasn’t the type of dog that strains at the line.
Last Thursday one of the peices of hardware failed, and Lucky got loose. We had run to the gas station down the road, and were gone for about twenty minutes. Usually the first thing Lucky does when he’s loose in the yard is run to the door and beg for food. If we had been home we would probablly still have him.
It’s been almost a week and we haven’t seen him. He wasn’t very smart, and its fairly likely that he ran out in front of a car and got himself hit. I miss him.
