A man named David McQuaid, who I haven’t met but intend to get to know, saw our post about Burning Man and commented about his own experiences. He provided a link to his YouTube account, which I checked out.
He has quite a few awesome videos of Burning Man over the past several years, my favorites being the fire dancing and the deployment of a giant butterfly. After checking out his videos I started browsing on his favorites and found a gem that is going into my own YouTube favorites list.
Just in case you aren’t familiar with the song Bohemian Rhapsody, I’ll provide you a bit of background, courtesy of Wikipedia. The song was written by Freddy Mercury, the lead singer of Queen. It has been hailed as both the band’s masterpeice and one of the most elaborate recordings of all times. It was the most expensive single ever made, and holds position #163 on Rolling Stones list of the 500 greatest songs.
If you haven’t heard this song I suggest you check out the original before watching the video below.
So, in David McQuaid’s favorites I saw a video titled “One Man Plays Bohemian Rhapsody” and had to click. The following video is incredible!
And so…such is the nature of relationships and discovery on the internet.
(grrr…now I have that song stuck in my head!)
